Our Annual Christmas Fund In-gathering provided $553.75

Socks for Catholic Worker House. Delivered October 24,2020

The Neighbors in Need offering is received annually on the first Sunday in October. It is one of the five special offerings of the United Church of Christ. Two-thirds of this offering is used to support the work of Justice and Peace ministries. One-third is used by the Native American Council to support ministry in Native American Churches in the United Church of Christ. As of November 20, we have received $530.00 for this offering.



HACAP Food Reservoir supplies food for school back pack programs, including Mark Twain, will receive proceeds from our September birthday offering. We have received $505.00 as of October 1. Please have your offering in by September 30, 2020.

Approximately 220 bags of school supplies were purchased, sorted, packed, and delivered by the Zehr family. Our part now is to raised the $1900.00 to pay for the supplies. Our purchase was all students registered at Mark Twain. As of Sunday, September 20, we have raised 1699.49 of our $1900.00 goal.

Christmas in July yeilded this collection of lotions, body wash, deodeant, socks and underwear.

Circumstances prevented our annual Sundae Sunday, so instead we invited everyone to bring their own desserts to worship. A great collection of yummy stuff was shared via zoom. Our offering for the day went to Center for Worker Justice and totaled $207.78. Thanks

Rev. Paul Witmer from Women at the Well ministry was our guest preacher on June 14, 2020. Paul stayed following worship to speak more about the ministry of Women at the Well. Faith UCC is in partnership with that ministry. Our special offering that day totaled $617.35. Thank you.

Sunday, May 31, Faith UCC received the May birthday offering for Strengthen the Church.  So far, we have collected $225.22 for Strengthen the Church.  STC supports the expansion of ministry and growth of UCC local congregations. Your support of this offering will help the UCC fulfill its commitment to creating a just world for all by investing in new ministries and practices that meet the emerging needs of local communities.  Your generosity will plant new churches, awaken new ideas in existing churches and develop the spiritual life in our youth and young adults.

Our First Annual Virtual Fiesta was held Saturday, May 2. Our featured speaker was Michelle Heinz from Inside/Out Reentry. She spoke of her work with them and her appreciation for the support of our Faith community. Our offering was donated to Inside/Out Reentry and as of May 7 totals $410.00 You may still make a donation either online on this web page or by sending a check to Faith maked for Fiesta.

Our April Birthday Offering, received via mail, was donated to Shelter House. Our total as of May 7 is $520.00. Thank you!

Our OGHS offering on March 15th was $369.00

The Annual Pancake Supper held Tuesday, February 25, 2020 provided tasty pancakes, sausage and bacon. Lots of pancakes toppings and lots of fun. Oh, we also received $416.00 to benefit the Separated Families project at The Center for Worker Justice

Our January birthday offering was received on January 29 to benefit the Common Fund of CommUnity. We received $347.00

The Alternative Christmas Sale held annually in December to benefit Heifer International netted $2566.00.
